Celebrate Australia - Queensland ~ Left Handed Coins & Banknotes

The Perth Mint attended the Brisbane ANDA Coin, Note and Stamp Show in May 2010 and released a very limited special release. It is the Celebrate Australia Queensland 1oz silver dollar coin. The coin’s reverse portrays a coloured representation of the Gold Coast Beaches, skyline and a coral reef. The design includes a sea turtle, always popular with those visiting the Great Barrier Reef, and a Cooktown Orchid, Queensland’s floral emblem.
