NOTES: |
-
The note was the first of its kind in the world, printed on a
non-fibrous polymer (plastic) substrate incorporating technology devised
in Australia
- Due to the high incidence of OVDs
being defaced by the general public, the RBA suspended the issue
- 24th October 1988 the note was
re-released with some minor changes, including the discontinuance of the
serial numbering system involving suspended prefixes.
