The kangaroo is a marsupial mammal and is native to
Australia. Standing, the kangaroo is taller than the average man and can
weigh around 85 kilograms. It is the largest marsupial in the world. There are
over forty different species of kangaroo, the largest of which is the Red
Kangaroo. Kangaroos are members of the Macropodidae Family
which means "big foot".
